I just used Blekko for the third or fourth time today and instead of getting their search engine I get the following message:

There are an unusual number of requests coming from this IP address. To protect our users, we can’t process any more requests from this IP address right now. Try again later.

Maybe their whole system is just having a few problems and this is the default response? I am a little shocked that I got this message, as I would assume that this is the type of response they give to people running automated queries. I have a dedicated IP address from my ISP so am pretty sure that nobody else is running any requests.
I dropped them a mail to request more information and am awaiting their reply. Let’s just hope that they have not blocked my IP address completely! If they have then I will have to re-write those articles about life after Yahoo! Site Explorer and recommend another service.
Come on Blekko, I am hoping for great things from you guys, please do not let us down.
