My dad runs a horse racing blog which I bought him runnersandriders.co.uk a few years ago after he retired. He always said that he had no idea what to do once he retired. As I knew that he loved horse racing I did some domain name research and found that runnersandriders.co.uk was available, so I bought it for him. I then built and designed a blog for him which runs of Google’s Blogger software, so he can update the site himself, and I can access the Blogger control panel to administer it. I also place the adverts on the site, and share the revenue. Saying that, until this year’s Cheltenham Festival, and now the Grand National, traffic was very low. But his top tips are starting to work in our favour. Just goes to show that a simple hobby site, when done right, can do well.
Runners and Riders’ top tips for today Grand National are:
- State of Play
- Snowy Morning.
I am off to put a bet on.
